Swiss Ambulance Rescue is first and foremost a service designated to assist and help others. Our emergency teams, available 24/7, are always ready to bring help to those that are sick or have been injured.
Mandated by 144, the central emergency call unit, our teams are trained to aid people that are physically or mentally suffering.
In addition, our teams are attentive to and support the entourage of the person that is ill. It should be noted that our teams are led to provide care both during the day and at night, in public or within health care institutions (including both public and private clinics).
With the goal of providing patients with complete care, our emergency teams regularly collaborate with different rescue partners, such as SMUR, firefighters, police officers, or Rega.
We respond to more than 9,000 emergency cases and 5,500 non-emergency cases and transports (bariatric and incubator) per year.
IMPORTANT: Our teams wish to remind you that the emergency phone number to call for their assistance is 144.
